If you are interested in any of our dogs, please feel free to contact us at smalldogrescuene@gmail.com for any questions you may have or you may proceed directly to fill out an application. Be sure to fill out the entire application or it will not go through. If you are serious about adopting, please place a deposit of $50 under the pink donate button on our website. If approved, your deposit is applied to the adoption fee. The deposit is refundable (up to 6 months from the time the deposit was placed) if we aren’t able to get you the dog you applied for, if you change your mind about adopting the deposit is not refunded. The deposit will start the process of your application. Please allow at least 7 days for processing of applications.
We reserve the right to refuse an applicant based on the information provided, as well as the results of the application process, with or without disclosure of cause. DUE TO THE SIZE OF OUR DOGS, WE DO NOT ADOPT OUT TO FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 8, NO EXCEPTIONS!! Yards are required for most dogs, with the exception of our senior dogs. Fenced in yards are preferable. You must be 25 to adopt. Each adoption is based on the best home for the dog. Our Adoption donations cover: vetting, transporting, feeding, and caring for all the dogs in our program.
Please note- the adoption fee is non-negotiable and the dogs are not free. Transportation is included in adoption fee. You will not receive any money off of the adoption if you pick up in RI/CT. We have already paid the transport for the dog to come up from the south.
